Then there’s Phil Spector, the rock and roll promoter with wild and crazy hair. In 2009, he was sentenced to 19 years for the murder of a former girlfriend. Aspiring singer Rachelle Marie Short married him shortly after his arrest.

Even the most heinous murderers appeal to some women. Serial killers John Wayne Gacy and Ted Bundy both had committed relationships before they were executed.

There’re almost 1.5 million males in state and federal prisons, according to the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics, which must strike some husband-seekers as happy hunting grounds.

I was particularly attracted to Daniel, 53, who’s serving a life sentence with parole. He’s 5’9″, 180 pounds and doesn’t smoke. On the plus side, he loves animals, listening to music and watching sunsets. On the negative, he could get out in 2022.
